To get started at FireBase, come in for the 10:00 am Saturday morning CF WOD class or call and make an appointment. The first session is always free, there will be absolutely no sales pressure, just come ready to train.
During your first visit you will be guided through the ‘CrossFit Warm-up’ by one of our trainers. You will be taught proper form and technique performing several basic bodyweight exercises. You will perform up to, depending on YOUR level of fitness, 3 rounds of the warm-up. During this time, we observe your strengths and weaknesses and determine your current level of fitness. Every training period thereafter you will continue to be trained according to your level of fitness.
The difference between FireBase Orlando and commercial gyms is we are committed to you the client in every aspect of fitness to include nutritional and diet support. We want to see you achieve your fitness goals and take you beyond. Unlike commercial gyms, where-after you sign up and no one even takes notices you walking in the door, or takes accountability for you as their client….at FireBase we train you every time you walk into our door. As our member, you will be guided through a warm-up and then the Work-Out-of-the-Day (WOD). The WOD is different EVERY TIME you enter. Our members never know what the work-out will be. They change every day. That is part of the excitement and intrigue of the CrossFit Training Method.
CrossFit FireBase Orlando training methods ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE. During your first visit, you will experience one of two thoughts. You will either think, “THIS IS IT! This is what I’ve been looking for! I can become lean, strong and healthy!” or, you will think, “THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!” Should you choose the latter thought,we understand as we know our methods are different from today’s commercial fitness exercise styles. Should you choose to become a member, YOU WILL SEE RESULTS. Our only requirement is that you walk in the door ready to train.

About FireBase Orlando
FireBase Orlando is a new 2,850 sqft, CrossFit Affiliate serving the Orlando area. At FireBase, we are supportive of hard-core fitness. You won’t find a spa, basketball courts, mirrors or muscle isolation machines here. We support the CrossFit method of fitness. Outfitted with everything you will need to promote optimal fitness and nothing you don’t.
Over the years most commercial gyms have banned Olympic Weight Lifting (just try dropping weights and see how long you last before you’re asked to leave), plyometrics – even grunting and yelling.
The predominate model in commercial facilities is the bodybuilding model: all machines and isolation work. Machines and isolation movements require little or no knowledgeable instruction or coaching whereas serious strength, endurance and conditioning requires less equipment and considerable expertise on the part of the instructors.

CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (e.g. pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, and running) executed at high intensity. The workouts themselves are completely scalable, which means a new participant and a CrossFit veteran can complete the same workout with changes in load and intensity. CrossFit workouts will deliver phenomenal fitness in and of themselves or as a compliment to your sport-specific training regime. CrossFit’s specialty is not specializing in any one fitness style. Daily life, like many sports and professions (even combat) requires broad levels of fitness. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.

If you are someone who:

Then CrossFit is for YOU. Our classes take place at the FireBase (our East Orlando gym) or a local park. Every workout is different! Since you will rarely do the same thing twice, you are less likely to lose interest or get bored than if you were doing the same circuits at the gym three days a week. Because our workouts are rarely more than 45 minutes long, they can fit into even the busiest schedules.
Finally, CrossFit is FUN! Our coaches and participants are welcoming, supportive, and committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed. We encourage the "group dynamic" where friendly competition and camaraderie combine to elicit extra effort, intensity and accountability. We counsel nutrition and recovery and support your personal goals.
